Light-wash denim / white and blush pink lace. Cut low on the hip, close through the thigh, then released into a long flare, where the denim opens into sheer pink lace edged in white. The lace is cut and stitched in by hand, one pair at a time, which is why there are only 35 of them.

I ruined four pairs of jeans on my kitchen floor before one held.
I started PoppyTrove in my second year of art school because I was sick of denim that only looked good in the photo. Everything in shops was safe, stretchy, and made by a machine that had never met a person.
So I taught myself to sew lace into denim. Badly, at first. I ruined four pairs on my kitchen floor before the first one held. Every pair we ship is still cut and finished by hand in a tiny studio — which is exactly why there are only a handful of each colourway.
If you buy a pair, you own something almost nobody else has. That's the whole point.

Very. The hem is wide enough to cover most of the shoe, which is what gives the leg its long line.
The lace inserts are sheer by design and sit at the side panel and lower leg. The body of the jean is solid denim.
A small top, a pointed shoe and nothing else fighting for attention. The jeans are the outfit.
Cold wash inside out on a delicate cycle, or hand wash. Hang to dry and never tumble dry the lace panels.
Check the Size & Waist Guide (in inches) above. XS fits 24–25" waist, S fits 26–27", M fits 28–29", L fits 30–31", XL fits 32–34", and 2XL fits 35–37". Size up if you are between waist sizes.

Heavy vintage-weight denim, washed down until it moves like something you already own.
The lace is cut by hand
Every panel is traced and cut by hand, so no two pairs land exactly the same.
Stitched, one pair at a time
The lace is set into the flare and stitched in — slow, and the reason the run is small.
Then we stop at 35
When the run is gone it is gone. No restock, no second wave, no reprint.
